¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to the Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement (HOLA) website.

HOLA FDA is an organization of Latino/Hispanic employees of the Food and Drug Administration, under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and was established in October 2021.

The HOLA FDA mission is to address the needs of Hispanics/Latinx at the FDA and the Hispanic/Latinx public by:

  • Providing a collective voice that represents Hispanics/Latinos at the FDA.
  •  Improving leadership development and career advancement opportunities for Hispanics/Latinos in the FDA through participation in agency activities, training, mentorship and advocacy.
  •  Serving as an advisory body to FDA in regard to issues affecting Hispanic/Latino employment.
  • Advising the FDA leadership on public health issues impacting the Hispanic/Latino community and effective ways to reach this population.
